It was a cold winter night and in a private room of the most exclusive restaurant of the X City a group of university students were drinking and chatting happily celebrating the reunion after the beginning of classes.
“How was your summer, Jose? How many new conquests did you have this year?” spoke one of the young men, he was wearing an elegant and evidently branded outfit, which implied that he came from a wealthy family.
“Well the same as always, nothing interesting” answered Jose without wanting to give details, he didn’t like to brag about his conquests, he found it dishonorable to talk about women.
“Leave it, Tobias, Jose doesn’t like to talk about women” interjected a girl from the group “fortunately there are some decent men left in the world”.
“Come on Lydia stop the hints, it’s been two years since we broke up, back then I was young and reckless, I’m sorry I hurt you.” justified the one called Tobias.
“Since we are talking about conquests” Lydia attacked again “where have you left your little lap dog”.
“I don’t know who you mean” feigned innocence Tobias.
“You know I’m talking about Sara, where is she? We’ve been waiting for her for a while for dinner and she still hasn’t shown up.”
“She should be on her way, don’t worry she should be here soon.”
“She doesn’t worry me, it just makes me indignant that she has these airs and graces, she’s always late and we have to wait for her. I don’t know where she gets these airs of superiority from, we are all children of important people, politicians, businessmen, influential people in this country and she is just a newcomer that we don’t even know anything about her, or her family. We have known her for three years and we hardly know anything about her.”
“We know what she wants to tell us and that’s enough for us, we all have secrets and we like our privacy to be respected, so stop meddling where no one is calling you and if it bothers you wait you can have dinner by yourself we will wait for her” Tobias scolded her tired of the constant attacks against her friend.
Just at that moment the door of the private room opened and the figure of a slender girl became visible to those present, she wore simple clothes without garments and hardly any makeup, but even so her beauty stood out among the rest. She had an angelic appearance, but there was something in her aura that denoted power, something alluring and sexy. All the guys stared at her and drooled except Tobias who looked towards the door when he saw it open and indifferently without barely looking at her said:
“There you are, quick come sit down let’s eat Lydia is starving.”
“I’m sorry I’m late, I was busy. To make it up to you today it’s on me.”
Everyone thanked and greeted the newcomer, while Lydia rolled her eyes and wondered why everyone loved her so much, true she was beautiful, but her personality left much to be desired.
The waiters were called and everyone ordered their plates, the atmosphere became cheerful and lively again. After dinner they started drinking, most of the girls had already left, only Lydia, her friend Monica, Sara and five other guys were left in the room.
“Look at her how vulgar” Lydia spoke to her friend referring to Sara who was playing cards and gambling with the boys.
“The truth is that her face is deceiving, anyone who sees her thinks she is an innocent flower” Monica supported her “but in reality she behaves like a male, she curses, plays cards, drinks like a bottomless barrel. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her wear a dress, is she a homosexual?”
“I don’t think so, actually what she is, is a little dead fly. She wants to be around men all the time, look at Tobias how she brings it. Tonight I’m going to teach her a good lesson so she learns not to mess with other people’s men.”
